The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad

a Columbia motion picture released in 1958.

I purchased this half sheet from a poster dealer at a Chiller Horror convention held at Farleigh Dickenson University, NJ, back in the 90's. the condition of this original is used. it bears the fold marks from when it was first stored during the first fun of the movie. a previous owner did use pins to hang this, and you can see the hole in one of the pictures. the colors have become muted over the years, but i assure you they are still vivid when seen in person.

The amazing thing about this poster is that I had pleasure of meeting Mr. Harryhausen at that show, and he was gracious enough to sign it for me. Some collectors think that anything done to an original poster detracts from its value. but i believe, and so do many others, that this is a work of art, and just like an artist's signiture on a painting, this signiture enhances its value. in any event, it makes it unique. Mr. Harryhausen was the creative genius behind stop motion animation in the 50's and up. he learned his craft from Willis O'brien of King Kong fame. in my opinion, he is the artist behind this and many other motion pictures, and has the right to add his signiture to the poster.

so, is an extraordinary opportunity to purchase a truly one-of-a-kind item. t is no COA available, as the poster was signed in front of me. had i known better, i would have taken a picture of him signing it, but that didnt enter into my thinking. this poster is the real deal, not a reproduction or fake. check the production numbers at the lower right hand corner. posters of this rarety do not appear for auction very often. so do not miss this chance to own a piece of original movie art bearing the artist's signiture.
