Scott catalog #236. This 8 cent stamp depicts Christopher Columbus restored to favor by the Queen. It is Extremely Fine, unused and was taken from a block of 4. It retains full original gum with the barest trace of a hinge. It has a deep rich color. It was issued during the world Columbian Exposition in Chicago, Illinois May 1st through October 30th 1893. This exposition celebrated the 400th anniversary of the discovery of America by Christopher Columbus.
