Offering for bid this 8 Inch random Squares Tied Pieced Vintage 1960's African American Quilt. Size 79x91. Measure to insure proper fit. This is a "make-do" quilt and is a prime example of Americana craftsmanship and pride. Recycling before recycling became popular. This was a "use what you had" also known as a "make do" quilt. No holes Minimal stains is any. One loose seam along edge that is easily repaired. Multicolor polyester double knit with backing of old cotton bed sheet. Hand tied. Used many years, still good. Straight out of the Austin Area. Add this to your collection of African American Textile Art.
