I am thrilled and honored to offer up for auction this exquisite set of 6 Bimini Nude Cordial or Port Glasses with matching Decanter. Bimini Glass was located in Vienna, Austria and operated from 1923-1938 and offered handblown or mouthblown art glass. The stripes or swirls in this set are signature characteristics and while the nude women were perhaps the most interesting of the figurines often incorporated into these works, they also used animals and other little figures. As all of you know it is hard to capture the beauty of anything in a single or even a handful of photos. I have taken the shots that I think will be most compelling for you but encourage you to email me with specific requests. The color scheme of this set is a true vivid orange swirl on a clear background. The stem is an opaque white woman with up reaching hands as though she is supporting the bowl of the glass and the base is opaque black. I believe this was designed to be a sport cordial set which of course would be less common than that of a wine set. The decanter measures 7.75 inches from base to top of stopper. The decanter features 3 black feet and a twist-style amber glass handle. The glasses measure a petite 3.75 inches tall.
