8 pc Venetian Bimini Sherry Wine Glasses Decanter

I am thrilled and honored to offer up for auction this exquisite set of 6 Bimini Nude Glasses with matching Decanter. Bimini Glass was located in Vienna, Austria and operated from 1923-1938 and offered handblown or mouthblown art glass. The stripes or swirls in this pair are signature characteristics and while the nude women were perhaps the most interesting of the figurines often incorporated into these works, they also used animals and other little figures. As all of you know it is hard to capture the beauty of anything in a single or even a handful of photos. I have taken the shots that I think will be most compelling for you but encourage you to email me with specific requests. The color scheme of this set is a true orange swirl on a clear background on the bowl of the flute. The stem is an opaque white woman with up reaching hands as though she is supporting the bowl of the glass and the base is opaque black. You may often find coblet shaped glasses from Bimini but to find 6matching flared rim glasses with decanter is...well, I haven't seen a set like this on eBay and I have been watching for a year. I beleive this was designed to be a sherry set which of course would be less common than that of a wine set. The decanter measures 9.5 inches from base to top of stopper. The width across the body of the decanter is 4 inches. The decanter features 3 black feet and a braided-style glass handle. The glasses measure a nice 7 inches tall. These are close measurements but being individual works of art these measurements will NOT be exactly equal on all pieces. I purchased these at a highend estate sale. The lady was primarily a glass collector and the auction featured Waterford, Murano, Bimini and other fine makers and was presented by a reputable Tampa Area Auctioneer. This set of glasses have absolutely NO damage of any kind. That having been said...I guarantee your satisfaction with these pieces and as no believable reproduction has ever been made you can rest assure that these are in fact the pieces described.
