Up for auction are these EIGHT pieces of flatware in what I believe is the "ASCOT" pattern, by RICCI ARGENTIERI of ITALY. Two table spoons, two dinner knives, two dinner forks, one dessert or salad fork, and one serving spoon. Each piece is marked with the Italian sterling 800 mark and the RICCI hallmarks. Even though these are unused retail stock, the 8" serving spoon and one of the table spoons have scratches at the tip that could be easily buffed out. Total weight WITHOUT the knives is 14.9 oz. With the knives, which have INOX (the best) stainless steel blades, total weight is 1 lb 6.5 oz. Please see the LAST picture of ANOTHER large selection (10 PIECES!) of RICCI STERLING FLATWARE I have up for auction (as yet unidentified -- HELP! -- if anyone knows the name of this second pattern I would be grateful for an email!). These pieces and several dozen other pieces of RICCI STERLING and RICCI SILVERPLATE flatware I have listed in other auctions are from a Richmond, Virginia, high-end dealer of crystal, sterling, porcelaine and other luxury goods who was changing his business. They were all unsold stock and display pieces and as such, except for w noted and slight handling and storage wear, are in EXCELLENT CONDITION! About RICCI ARGENTIERI One hundred and sixty years ago the Ricci family artisans established their Guild House, Ricci Argentieri, in Alessandria, a small northern Italy town near Milan.
