We offer for sale these 8 Elegant Vintage Crystal Stuart Tumblers/Water Glasses. They are 4 inches tall and hold 8 Oz. - we do not know the pattern but it is very pretty with 2 rows of X on the bottom and a straight line going up to the top between each X. Acid etched mark on the bottom of each "Stuart". These were purchased from a fine Estate Sale in Hanover, NH - 6 of them are clearly marked the other we could not see the mark, but they came together and they are exactly alike. Stuart originally based in Stourbridge in the west midlands, the heartland of England 's crystal making industry in the 18th and 19th centuries. The Stuart Crystal brand is now owned by Waterford Wedgwood, probably the world's leading fine quality crystal company. If you were to replace these they would cost $33.00 a piece, so these are a EXCELLENT buy ! In excellent condition no chips or nicks and they ring like a bell! Crystal is one of the best known quality crystal brands in English glass making. It was Low starting price and no hidden reserve.
