is an oportunity to own a very unusual cast iron skillet that is somew between 80 and 105 years old. This Wapak skillet, in addition to being an antique and in exceptional condition, has the Indian Head Medallion Logo. While you may see one from time to time, not many have a logo that is almost like the day it came out of the factory. The casting is very crisp and detailed. This is a quality pan made ty the Wapak Hollow Ware Co. of Wapakoneta, Ohio. It measures 9 1/2" in diameter and is 2" deep. The weight is 4 pounds 6 ounces. T are no cracks, pitting, rust spots, or repairs. It sits flat and does not wobble. The bottom of the pan has a heat ring which has protected the Indian Head from wear. T are a few scratches on the cooking surface but no fork pricks to speak of. The over all casting is a bit primitive as most of the Wapak line was. I have placed a very reasonable reserve on this auction due to the condition of this piece and to protect my investment in it. Please email me should you have any questions.
