We are pleased to offer at absolutely "NO RESERVE" this superb set of sterling silver flatware made by Towle. The set is found in the highly desirable OLD MASTER pattern and includes 12 place settings and many additional serving pieces. The flatware is in excellent condition with only minimal signs of usage and no monograms. Each handle, excluding the knives and carving utensils, have a raised mark that reads " TOWLE STERLING PAT. Old Master". The knives and carving utensils have hollow handles and the knife blades are stamped " TOWLE STAINLESS ". The blade of the carving knife is stamped " TOWLE'S DEEP TEMPERED STAINLESS " and the fork reads " STAINLESS ". The total weight of the silverware is 81.8 ounces. The knives and carving set were weighed separately at 32.6 ounces due to the addition of stainless steel. The set includes: 12 HH KNIVES, 12 FORKS, 12 SALAD FORKS, 20 TEASPOONS, 12 SOUP SPOONS, 6 Indiviual BUTTER KNIVES, SALT SPOON, SUGAR SPOON, Lattice SPOON, Lemon FORK, HH CARVING KNIFE & FORK. Dimensions of the sterling are as follows: Knife is 9" in length, Dinner Fork is 7.25" long, Salad Fork is 6.50", Teaspoon is 6" with bowl 1.25" wide, Soup Spoon is 6.25" long and 1.75" wide, Lattice Spoon is 5.5" long and slightly wider than 1.75", Salt Spoon is 5.75" long and bowl is 1.5" wide, Sugar Spoon is 6" in length and bowl is 1.25" wide, Lemon Fork is nearly 6", Butter Knife is 6", Carving Fork is 8.75", and Carving Knife is 10" in length. This set was purchased at an estate sale and was enclosed in a Gorham Silver Cloth Box with Faux Leather. The box and 5 silver wraps will be included in the sale. This exquisite Towle sterling set is heirloom quality silver at a fantastic price!! Please ask any and all questions as they will be answered promptly.
