80 German color prints from 1936 of the 1936 Olympic Summer and Winter Games in Germany. They do not belong into the blue-cover photo books but rather into a rare softcover album from 1936 entitled "Die XI. Olympiade Berlin 1936" published by "Firma Heinrich Franck" in Berlin. This particular album (not included as I only have a worn copy of its covers and a few pages) has a maroon cover and the prints were stuck (not glued) into slots. This also enables the collector to read the concise and informative description on the back of each card (about its front image). They all measure 2 3/4 x 4 1/8 inches. The complete set would consist of 180 prints. The cards are in very good condition. They all look sharper than my pictures suggest. Please, look at my other German 1936 olympic items currently listed. No doubles!
