800 Mark Antique European Silver Dessert Servers

Fabulous Antique Set of Dessert Servers in Original Gift Box. The set consists of one pastry server and two berry spoons. The two spoons are marked 800 on the back side of the spoon bowls near the edge. The pastry server is unmarked. Along with the stamped silver content number are three other hallmarks which I cannot identify. The 800 mark is a general European standard very commonly used in Germanic countries during the late 19th Century. One of the hallmaks is a crescent moon which I have seen on other German pieces marked with the 800. One of the other hallmarks looks like it might be an Eagle and the other resembles a Menorah. I am certainly no expert on hallmarks so the buyer will need to do further research. The handle design for the three pieces is an ornate non-symetrical pattern largely popular during the 1890's so that is my best guess as to the approximate age. The spoon bowls and pastry server blade are heavily gold washed on both sides as reflected accurately in only two photos. These pieces are all in outstanding condition and t is no loss of silver or gold on this finely crafted set. The box is in very good condition with operating hinges and clasps. I do not think this set ever received much use during its long existence. The spoons are 7.5" in length and the pastry server is 10.75" in length.
