Third quarter 18th century. Polychrome decorated with gilt Foo Dog finial. Measures with lid 11` high by 8 1/2` wide spout to handle. Damage to spout. Star shaped hairline on base. Some wear to gilt decoration along the base and on the Foo dog. Crazing on inside of jug on base. A remarkable pitcher for the age.
