Please check out all of my press kits I now have on eBay now This is a different original Ford Motor Company IMSA mediapress kit for their advance Ford Mustang Probe prototype sports car (I especially like the bold cover on this one). It was used to highlight and promote the new advances in Ford’s Special Vehicle Operations, with their work in new electronic components and new chassis materials. Their drivers included Tom Gloy (winner of the 1984 SCCA Trans-Am championship), Klaus Ludwig (1979, 1984, and 1985 Le Mans 24 hours of Endurance champion), Lyn St. James, Pete Halsmer. Lyn had been selected to promote women racing drivers, which she did by competing in such things like the Indianapolis 500, Daytona 24 Hours, Sebring 12 hours, and set the World’s Closed Course Speed Record for women in 1985. It consists of: - Special color press kit jacket/envelope- 5 5x7” b&w photos of all four drivers and Michael Kranefuss, Director of Special Vehicle Operations- 2 8 x 10” b&w photos - 2 8 ½ x 11” full color over-sized postcard-type of information cards (NICE!)- 12 press releases on 8 ½ x 11” paperIt is in excellent condition (see photos), and has been stored in a large acid-free sleeve since I obtained it.I will list my press kit as fast as I can, and I will combine shipping as best I can to help save you shipping costs.
