Up for bids is a COMPLETE SET of 1/87 HO scale set of 8 Athearn Washington D.C. Fire Trucks. It took me over 2 years to find and collect ALL seven of the models that Athearn put out of the Washington D.C. Fire Trucks. From 4 states in the United States, Austraila and Germany of all places to find Washington D.C. Fire Trucks. Almost every Hobby web site I searched over 2000 times the last 2 plus years they were sold out including the Athearn web site. And every place I was able to track one down the famous last words.... "WE HAVE ONE LEFT". Here are the list of stock numbers, one of which is a pair of trucks. Picture 1 is ALL 8 FIRE TRUCKS 1. Washington D.C. Mack B Rescue Squad #91886 (Picture 2) Released in 2009 2. Washington D.C. Ford Rescue Squad #91809 (Picture 3) Released in 2004 3. Washington D.C. Ford C Pumper Short Fire Truck #91891 (Picture 4) Released in 2009 4. Washington D.C. Ford F-850 Pumper #92033 (Picture 5) Released in 2008 5. Washington D.C. Ford long Fire Truck #92009 (Picture 6) Released in 2003, PAIR OF THESE TRUCKS 6. Washington D.C. Mack B Fire Truck #91844 (Picture 7) Released in 2008 7. Washington D.C. Ford Telesquirt Fire Truck #91859 (Picture 8) Released in 2004 You might be able to find one, maybe two of these Fire Trucks every now and again on EBAY, but you won't find all 7 like in this collection.
