Presented here is a built and finished 1949 White 4000 dump truck. The base model here is the prototypical and nicely detailed Sylvan Scale Products model kit with front bumper tow hooks and photo etched fuel tank steps and mirrors added. The bed is from a Scene Masters early ‘50’s dump that has been detailed with a gate release lever. The wheels and tires are the unbelievable realistic resin castings from Ralph Ratcliffe Models. All weathered to represent a hard working truck. Please enlarge the photos for a good look at this very nice little 1/87 scale model, suitable for an up front piece on any layout or collection.
