Description ( revised ) Item Specifics Metal Type : Cast Iron New Bankskull service! I have 15 consignment banks up along with 15 Bankskull banks for a grand total of 30 beautiful items up for auction. I will be auctioning 30 to 40 items every two weeks this year, including the summer months! Last summer worked out well but you can definitely pick up some bargains when the heat is on!! Produced by Nicol for the Columbia Exposition in Chicago c1893 one of the first uses of public electricity so it was called " White City ". The bank is in very good condition! The nickel plating is about 80%+ It has the straight slot screw in the bottom but you get you money out through the door w / original knob screw in the face of the bank It will open with your fingers Has "Nicol & Co MFRS Chicago PAT OCT 2 (189) 4" T are no cracks, chips, breaks. 4 5/8 " high x 2 3/4" wide. In Moore 's penny book #914 @ $250 in the 2008 edition! I suggest to the winner to print a copy of this auction, it will increase the resale value of your purchase tremendously having this information as a hard copy along with the bank. You are paying for this information, make use of it! Plus it's fun to look back in 20 years and say I only paid $200 for that way back when. Most of the banks today selling for $200-$400 were $15-$50 in the mid 1970's, big money when the reference guides I have were printed. Please ask any and all questions before auction ends.
