Offered at auction from the Florida Estate of a Collector of Vintage Male Nude Photography from the Early 1900 - 1950 Period, is this awesome ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH or PROOF of an AFRICAN AMERICAN NUDE MALE BODYBUILDER POSING MODEL from the 1950's !! What is unusual about this photograph is it represents an EARLY FULLY NUDE POSE. The Model is Not Identified anyw on the photo. It is worth noting that this is part of an estate collection that belonged to a collector who was close friends with some photographers who were contemporaries of, and who knew, Bob Mizer ( AMG Photo Guild) in California. Many of these photographs were taken in the 1940's and 1950's of amateur bodybuilders who were earning part-time incomes as beefcake models. Although not certain, I believe t is a strong liklelihood that some of these photos could be UNSIGNED Images from the Studios of " AL URBAN " , " DOUGLAS OF DETROIT ", or " EARL FORBES ". What makes this particular collection interesting is that is it contains many fully nude model poses WITHOUT fig leaf or posing strap, at a time when that was rarely done. Additionally, what is especially nice about this VINTAGE ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH is its SIZE ! It MEASURES 8" x 10" !! It has a MATTE FINISH and is on Nice Thicker Photographic Paper, so could easily be Framed. CONDITION: This PHOTO is in GREAT VINTAGE CONDITION. This Photo likely could be a Photographer's Proof , or the first image captured by the camera. ** This Image is In FLAWLESS MINT CONDITION !! T is just One Tiny Speck located just above the Left Nostril. It is not that noticeable. I believe it is likely a speck that was on the Negative. I detect No Creases, No Wrinkles, No Tears, No Repairs, No Pencil Marks, No Pen or Ink Marks.
