9 ANTIQUE STICK PINS MOONSTONE, LAPIS, RUBY, PEARL Presented is an excellent set of 9 different antique stick pins of various designs. The first pin is in the form of a flying insect with wings accented with 6 pearls and 2 turquoises. The second pin features 3 round moonstones done in the form of a clover. The moonstones measure about 3.8 mm each. The third pin is in the form of a classic love knot with a diamond at the center and 4 textured yellow gold swirls. The fourth pin is a sp of lapis lazuli drilled and capped in yellow gold. The lapis measures 8 mm in diameter. The fifth pin is in the form of a daisy with a yellow gold center and 10 silver filigree petals. The sixth pin is also in the form of a flower with a sapphire prong set at the center and surrounded by 6 pearls which measure approximately 2.3 mm each. The seventh pin is in the form of a heart with 3 round turquoise stones. The eighth pin is in the form of a leaf with one small pearl in the center surrounded by 3 larger pearls measuring about 2.5 mm each. The ninth pin features an opal and a ruby prong set side by side in yellow gold. These pins were made in the early 1900s, some of them perhaps in the late 1800s. The stick pins are not marked. Except for the silver filigree flower pin, all of the pins are set in gold, either 10 karat or 14 karat. The stick pins are in great condition. T are no chips or cracks in any of the stones, and they are all very securely set. The insect is missing a single small turquoise at the tip of the tail. Each of the pins has a clutchback safety mechanism. T are no breaks and no problems. The pins vary in length from 44 mm to 61 mm.
