Offered is a NINE figure, HAND-PAINTED, Sherlock Holmes grouping by Charles Hall of Scotland. These nine figures can be seen on page 40 of Hall's book, "The Sherlock Holmes Collection - the great Detective and his Creator." Six of the figures are 'busts' on pedestal [they are not meant to be chess pieces] = each is about 2" tall. T is a 3" tall figure of Holmes and two 'regular' figures, one of the twisted figure of Corporal Henry Wood, the other of Mr. Baker with his Christmas Goose. These latter two figures are very unusual and neither appears in any other 'miniature' set that I know of. The characters on the pedestals are: Conan Doyle, a London Bobby, Holmes, Watson, Moriarty and Colonel Ross [the owner of Silver Blaze] **This set is similar to another set recently offered except Colonel Ross replaces Inspector Lestrade.** Simply a very nice collection!!
