You are bidding on original Grand Tour cameo plaster medallions from the 19th century. These items were collected as souvenirs during tourist visits to Italy and other European countries. We notice that other sellers have sold reproduction plasters. Please note that ours are original, Victorian-era medallions. Each is surrounded with a gold-colored rim. Designers have taken similar medallions, arranged them in a pattern, and mounted them on the wall in clients' homes. We saw some being offered in the auction of Bill Blass' estate. These came from an old-time, New Hampshire collection and are being sold without reserve. We will be selling more over the next several weeks. Good luck and happy bidding!
