Set of 9 Lenox Limited Edition Boehm Bird Collectors' PlatesIncludes 1st in Series 1970 through 1978Hello and Welcome to my Auction!Offered for bidding is a Lovely Collection of 9 Lenox China Limited Edition Boehm Bird Collectors Plates . Included is the 1st in the Series for 1970 plus each additional year through 1978. The collection ended in 1981. The plates were based on the designs of the late Edward Marshall Boehm, an eminent naturalist and sculptor. Each plate has a beautiful 24-karat gold border and features a different bird. Each plate is signed Boehm on the front and Lenox on the reverse with the type of bird featured and the year date. They measure 10 3/4" in diameter and all are in EXCELLENT CONDITION . They will come with their original boxes and an insert card describing the featured bird. These plates would be wonderful if hung on a wall to adorn your room, placed in a china cabinet, or they could be used on a table along with Lenox Eternal pattern china or other gold edged Lenox china. They are not only beautiful but they are also practical. If you love beautiful birds, you will love these plates.
