9 PC GORHAM STERLING OVAL NUT DISH / CUP PIERCED A4775 This is a wonderful set of 9 Gorham sterling pierced nut dishes / cups. They are in good shape, showing minimal wear. Only one dish has two very small dents, hardly able to see. I havenâe(tm)t polished them. I will leave that up to the buyer. The back is marked with the stamp âeoeSterling A4775âe and the marks of the Gorham Lion, Anchor and G mark. Each dish is approx. 3 1⁄4 inches long, 2 1⁄4 inches wide and 11⁄4 inch high. They are monogrammed EJW. You can view this in one of the pictures. The darkness you see in some of the pictures is the reflection of the camera on the silver. I do not have a scale to weight them but I saw an identical one that listed 6 with the weight of 4.2 troy ounces. Remember, t are 9 of them. These nut dishes are at least 75 years old or more. I have been asked to sell these for a friend who said they belonged to his Mother. (He is in his 80âe(tm)s). I have two more different ones I will be offering soon.
