A 90 days Precision Tall Regulator Clock J. Le Roy 1850 NoR This very special precision regulator tall clock was made in France around 1850, with scissors escapement and central seconds pointer, long time running, over 3 months !. The mahagony case is in excellent condition and about 50 years younger. Bronze dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, central engravings, steel hands, steel central seconds pointer. Signature “Julien Le Roy � Paris” and a shield with “N 19”. Advanced early French clockwork with pinwheel/scissors escapement, thick bronze platines, over 3 months going work, heavy weighted pendulum with steel and bronze vertical rods, brass covered led bob, 1 heavy brass covered led weight and 1 contra weight (cord newer). Movement slides on the original bronze support with adjusts and screws. Good running condition and serviced. Mahagony case with cutted glass window in hinging door with key lock. Measurements : case tall 86.50", case width at top and base : 25.25”, dial diam. 11.5”. Overall in excellent condition, exceptional clock.
