G REAT AMERICAN POETS Gregory Corso, Allen Ginsberg, Peter Orlovsky May 5, 1992 Cooper Square Books, New York City SIGNED BY ALL THREE POETS ~ RARE! is an 11 x 17" poster printed in a very small quantity for a reading at Cooper Square Books on Astor Place in 1992. This was a small independent store that hosted what was one of the legendary readings of the 1990s in that it featured three major poets of the Beat generation in their own neighborhood. These three performed in the film Pull My Daisy together, and gave legendary readings at Columbia UNiversity in 1959, and again in 1975. The poster has edge wear, tape residue on the edges, and a small tear on top. It is also SIGNED By all three, remarkably in three different color inks. The poster was pulled from the front door during the reading and signed by all three after the event. Absolutely unique, and quite possibly the last time the three read together as Peter's condition declined rapidly in the months and years after this. These three signatures together, especially event-specific, was a very rare occurrence.
