925 sterling silver ARTISAN HAND CRAFTED BIG BOLD RING sz 6 mystery stone 15g Album Album Album Album Album Album This is an awesome hand crafted sterling ring with a brown mystery stone. It has a very unusual raw pebbled texture, that is extremely bumby. The dark brown color almost looks like it has been applied to the top of stone, it is milky white along one edge. There are flashes of gold and copper colors in crevices on top of stone. I can't tell if some sort of natural stone or agate with bands of color or something that has been dyed. This color does not wash or come off, it is part of the stone. It is a hard cool stone, not amber as I first thought. I almost thought could be jade--if not then I think agate. Honestly I do not know what this is. Ring is very thick and heavy, weighs 15 grams. The back of shank is 1/2" wide and although looks like a size 7, fits like a size 6. The brown stone is 1-1/4" x 3/4", big and irregularly shaped and set in thick silver bezel fitted exactly around its contours.
