95 PIECE NORITAKE 175 SET Service for 12 CHRISTMAS BALL
Complete service for 12 with all key serving pieces in the Noritake 175 pattern known as Christmas Ball. Each of these beautiful pieces has the hand painted raised gold decoration against a cream background. T are 11 different serving pieces. All pieces except one soup bowl are in undamaged, excellent condition. The set consists of: 12 dinner plates,10-1/2 inches in diameter Total 95 pieces. prices for this set total over $2,000. CONDITION: All pieces except one are in undamaged, excellent condition. The gold decoration is not worn, chipped or faded. All pieces show little or no use. One soup bowl has a chipped edge and a crack across it from the chip. Finding a replacement for that if desired is easy. SHIPPING: We gladly and carefully ship extensive sets such as this to both domestic and international destinations with no damage. If desired, the set can be picked up in downtown Naperville which is about 35 miles due west of Chicago. If shipping is necessary, we will charge the ACTUAL COST with insurance required. We will ship it by the carrier of your choice (USPS, UPS or FedEx). Every piece will be carefully bubble wrapped and packed in small, sturdy shipping cartons. Double boxing, if you so require, is at extra cost. Please note our feedback record and how often excellent packing is mentioned - we rarely experience any shipping damage due to our care in packing. We envision 3 or 4 cartons will be needed to send this set. Since the carrier used, your location and exact shipping weight affect the cost, we are not providing a shipping cost in this listing. When the auction closes, the winning bidder will be contacted to determine the shipping method to be used and then we will estimate that cost so an invoice can be sent. If we have overestimated the cost, you will be promptly refunded any overage once the set has been shipped. We are absorbing the cost of packing and boxing this set; you will end up paying only the actual postage and insurance cost. Illinois delivery adds sales tax. ESTIMATED SHIPPING COST: For your use in bidding, an approximate cost of shipping may be obtained by going to the USPS website postage calculator http://postcalc.usps.gov/ and finding the cost of shipping a "Package" of 25 pounds from our zip code 60540 to your location, selecting Parcel Post or Priority Mail as desired, and then adding insurance, and multiplying the result times 3 to account for the three boxes expected. The result is approximate and not a commitment on our part to meet that shipping cost. As noted above, you will be charged the actual cost of postage and insurance for shipping. STATE SALES TAX: We are required to collect 7.5% sales tax for all deliveries in the state of Illinois, whether the set is shipped or picked up. We do not keep this tax; we are simply the agents of state government in collecting it and passing it on to them. Your understanding in this matter will be appreciated. PAYMENT METHOD: U.S. bidders may pay by PayPal within 3 DAYS of close of auction. If payment sent by Money Order, Cashiers Check or good personal check, it must be mailed within 3 DAYS and received within 7 days of close of auction.
