This auction is for 965 silver Roosevelt and Mercury dimes - 848 Roosevelt dimes and 117 Mercury dimes. The dimes have not been circulated in over twenty years and all appear to be in decent condition as the pictures should indicate. The pictures are of the actual dimes being auctioned. Pictured are the 1963 and 1964 Roosevelt dimes. Also pictured are the 117 Mercury dimes, minted between 1918-1945.
Note that I have not attempted to determine what, if any, numismatic value these dimes have above their melting value. These coins were my grandfather's and he sorted and placed in Ziploc bags each batch of Roosevelt dimes, organized by mint year. He kept the Mercury dimes in separate envelopes. I am selling these coins on behalf of my grandmother. For the quantities of each batch of dimes, go to the bottom of the page. Note that I am not providing any grade estimate of these coins - If you are interested in seeing a picture of a particular batch, I will try to accommodate such a request.
