You are bidding on (98) stunning pieces of sterling silver flatware in storage box. The set is in the "King Richard" pattern made by the Towle Manufacturing Company of Massachusetts in 1932. Towle has been around since 1680 and remains a leader in the silver industry. The set's richly ornamented pattern was named after the most famous crusader, Richard "The Lion Hearted". The inspiration for this sterling flatware pattern comes from the shields carried by knights during the Crusades. Some pieces are marked "Towle Sterling 1932" Some have Just "Sterling pat 1932" Some have just "Towle Stertling" and are fitted in a chest that is lined with tarnishing-preventing cloth. Also included is several of the felt cloth like serving holders.
Set includes:
12 Butter knives 8 are still in original packaging and 4 are open approx 5-3/4" long........

12 larger Butter knives 5 are still in original packaging and 7 are open approx 8-3/4" long..........

12 Table Spoons all 12 are still in original packaging and they are approx 7-1/4" long.........

12 Teaspoons 3 are still in original packaging and 9 are open approx 6" long.........

12 Large Forks 7 are still in original packaging and 5 are open approx 7-3/4" long

12 Smaller Forks 9 are still in original packaging and 3 are open approx 6-1/2" long

9 smaller spoons 8 are still in original packaging and 1 are open approx 4-1/2" long

1 Carving set, Serving Fork is approx 8-1/4" long and Knife is 9-3/4" long........1 Server- Dessert/pie approx 10-3/8" long............

1 Gravy Ladle approx 7-1/4" long............Sugar Tongs approx 4" long..........2 Serving Spoons approx 5-3/4" long.........

1 Cheese Server approx 6-3/4" long.................1 Cream Ladle approx 5-7/8" long......... 1 Lemon Fok approx 5" long....

1 Butter Master approx 7-3/8" long.........1 Serving Fork approx 61/8" long........1 Jelly Server approx 6-3/4" long

and a 2 piece Fish Serving Set both pieces are approx 8" long............ Wooden Chest is 16" long X 11-1/4" wide X 3-1/4" High

Condition: Silver is in excellent Most pieces are in MINT Condition, just needs a little polishing. Wooden chest is in very good condition. T are no monograms or monogram removals.
This sterling silver flatware set would be a great addition for any collector or dinner entertainer!
