Offered is an original World War 2 German bayonet for the 98K rifle. It is a 'JWH 42', with matching serial number 2054h. 'JWH' was the code assigned to Staatliche Waffenfabrik, Chatellerault, France and made under German supervision. Bayonet shows wear and finish loss, especially to flash guard and scabbard (Scabbard displays rust and some pitting). Unsharpened blade is absolutely beautiful with just minor 'in and out' wear to tip. Leather frog has no markings. Any questions that photos/description does not address, please let me know. I DO NOT use PAYPAL; I know this is a hassle to some, but I will not accept it. Any Money Order is fine: Walmart, Bank, 7-11, etc. I WILL NOT accept a personal check.
