This old wool Karastan Lanamar Savonnerie 5544 rug is in good shape overall. The fringe is wearing (some completely gone). It is a good unrotted example of the 5544 otherwise. No smell or uneven wear. Edges look nice. Movers tracked it up some before it was picked up. Will professionally clean for $75 before shipping if you would like. Not 100% on the age but guessing early to mid 1900's from tag appearance and research. This is not a modern day black tag. This rug is the real deal! Please use buy it now to insure you get the rug!
