Well, is my May ephemera lot. Remember, I list at least one ephemera lot each month, each one sure to please the paper collector! This one includes documents dating from 1866 through 1928 (I think t is one piece dated 1930). Included: 8 - 1895 fraternal business calling cards that were taken to the 26th Triennial Conclave (they are from members from Bolivar & Kansas City, Mo; and all have beautiful illustrations - all are mint; 1904 print (from a amagzine or book) of the Transportation Building & Ground Plan at the St. Louis Exposition/World's Fair, measures 7 1/2" x 3"; 1899 Sol's Clock in Washington Park (Chicago) stereoview card; two other stereoview cards - not sure what they are of as t is no verbiage (except one has written Basin at ..and the other The Rossey...); 10 very old business calling cards (Stewart & Hall Used CarExhange/JH Boyts Co/2 Chas Kaufman/KC Cooks and Pastry Cooks Assn/Service Cushion Tube Co/ Crane's Cafeteria/Fireside Grill/Geo M Patterson (Gregg Coffee & Tea Co)/Geo M Patterson Coffee Co); 1930 Mid West Lodge Dues card from KC; unsent 1920's Arbuckle Bros. Chemists) in Chicago, 2 - 1902 Illinois Steel Co (The Rookery) Chicago, 1903 National Tube Co Pittsburg PA, 1902 & 2- 1905 KC Electric Light Co; and the follwoing miscelleous items: a section from an 1886 Harper's magazine that is about US Naval Artillary with has great illsutrations; a tatting bookmark looks to be silk; 1928 Near to Nature Babies illustrated page by James Swinnerton; 2 old stand up Christmas table decorations by Charlot Bix(?) - lots of wear to these two, but, still cute; 1880 Ledger from MKT Railway re: land purchase; 1867 milk purchase ledger Edward Bozzens & Co Omaha; 30 old photos (24 are children or babies and 6 are of older children two of which are dressed in military looking uniforms each with a musical instrument; and a 1857 - 1907 50 year wedding notice. This is a fabulous lot and for the most part items are mint or near mint. T is only a few bill heads that have some handling wear. Please email me with any questions.
