A-3. Nautical sail makers palm specialty tool. This is a special tool/glove used by sail and leather workers to help drive the extra large needles through the tough material. It's worn like a glove, and you'd set the end of needle in the reinforced hole and push it through. These have been in use for hundreds of years on both merchant and naval vessels of all nations. No markings so impossible to say definitely what period or country, but came with a WWI sailors estate grouping. In excellent condition for age, useable! Neat nautical antique! The free listing tool.
