A BEST! TRAILING IVY Applique Quilt...Must See !

Just gaze your eyes on this beauty! Great Pattern...Great Quilting..Great Colors...Just hard to beat this one!! This fabulous quilt is called Trailing Ivy and it is covered in leaves, vines, veins, and has a GORGEOUS Center Medallion with a starburst type motif in the center..The hand quilting has been done at 7-8 stitches per inch (one side counted) and are very tiny stitches..The quilting patterns are also just wonderful including trailing feathers, parallels, double circle in the center, the beautiful starburst which has 60 points to it and what does not show gorgeous quilting shows the gorgeous pattern..T are 3 colors of green and the vines are brown..The ground and the backing are white cotton..the batting is thin to medium cotton..The 1/4" green binder has been hemmed on the front and hand sewn on the back..T are still very tiny blue dots for the quilter to follow which means this was a quilt kit which were popular from the 1930's to the 1950's....I don't believe this quilt has ever been used for more than display..It is in excellent condition and I only found a few tiny brown specks in one corner which is shown in the last picture..The quilt measures 72" x 88"..The appliques have also been neatly done with hand hemming and hand stitched..T is applique on applique..T is also a lot of embroidery work in all the leaves and vines..This quilt will brighten any room and is so amazing to look at..I have a pair of these quilts and will be listing the second quilt soon...Feel free to email with any questions..Selling quilts on Ebay since 1998..Thanks for looking!!
