THIS BOOK IS THE U.S. GOVERNMENT DEALING WITH INDIAN TRIBES. SOME MATERIALS FOR THIS BOOK HAVE BEEN TAKEN FROM OFFICIAL REPORTS IN THE 1800'S. SOURCES FOR THIS BOOK CAME FROM: U.S. WAR DEPARTMENT , THE DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR , EXTRACTS FROM CHIEF SITTING BULL , DOCUMENTED STORIES AS TOLD BY THE INDIANS ALSO. THIS IS ALSO THE STORY OF "THE MASSACRES OF THE APACHES" AND "THE GUADENHUTTEN MASSACRE" . OTHER TRIBES INVOLVED IN THIS BOOK ARE " THE CHEYENNES ", " THE NEZPERCE'S ", " THE SIOUX ", " THE PONCAS ", " THE WINNEBAGOES ", " THE CHEROKEES " AND " THE DELAWARES ". THIS BOOK ALSO CONTAINS INFORMATION ABOUT "THE SAND CREEK MASSACRE" AND " THE CONESTOGA MASSACRE ". A LOT OF U.S. INDIAN HISTORY AND DOCUMENTATION. YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER BOOK IN THIS CONDITION AND THIS OLD. I BELIEVE IN TELLING YOU ALL ISSUES WITH THE BOOK UP FRONT SO T IS NO SUPRISES LATER. THE SECOND BLANK FRONT PAGE HAS A CURSIVE INSCIBED MESSAGE - " WITH THE COMPLIMENTS OF THE AUTHOR" . WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THIS MEANS.
