This is an original 11" by 14" lobby card movie poster for the 1951 MGM holiday classic A Christmas Carol, based on the Charles Dickens tale of the reformation of Ebenezer Scrooge thanks to Jacob Marley and 3 christmas eve spirits! And this is the one starring the incomparable Alastair Sim as Charles Dicken's Scrooge, a British production, which many consider the one with Alastair Sim the definitive version of A Christmas Carol, (and a must-see during the holiday season!)). Lobby cards were issued way back when to movie theatres in sets of 8 to help promote the film, they are very collectible and popular! This one is #3, a great shot of Alastair Sim in his most famous role as Ebeneezer Scrooge bottom left, and in the scene a flashback of young Scrooge during happier times!! This one is in excellent condition, it's in fine PLUS almost near mint condition, smudges/nits, images are TERRIFIC, a great vintage lobby card from one of the great holiday classics!
