A COLLECTION OF U S MILITARY KNIVES 1861 - 1968 (COPY # 275) M. H. COLE 1968 ECONOMY PRESS INC., 1968 REMARKS DESCRIPTION : Soft Cover, No Dust Cover (None supplied when purchased new). Cover is heavy card stock, two staple binding (staples clean with no rust). Cover has darkened, with age, around the edges, t are some original ink smudges on lower right of cover and upper right of back (see photos). Very Good condition otherwise, except for shelf wear. No "dog ears", and no notations written on any pages. Size is 11.25" tall and 9" wide. T are 85 numbered pages, plus several introductory pages. Contains only line drawings done by M. H. Cole, with some explanatory photos and letters. COMMENT : When this book was published, Cole anticipated additional volumes. The buyer was afforded the opportunity to purchase further volumes with the same assigned number (in this case, #275). All you had to do was keep your address current with M H Cole, and you would be advised of imminent publication of additional volumes. Each of the volumes had a personalized salutation from M. H. Cole inside the cover with the date. In the Volumes 1, Two, and III, it was written on the page, but in volume IV, it was on an affixed book plate. The book number (#275) is stamped near the inscription as well. In this book, the salutation was written on the page, signed in red ink by Cole and dated May 7 1969. As in the case of Paypal payments, you will be notified, by email, of the shipping date and the anticipated transit time. If you are not comfortable with these terms, please do not send a personal check as payment. Refund Policy . Every effort has been made to provide an accurate description of the item(s).
