Description: You viewing gorgeus and very rare Antique A Fine KPM Porcelain Plaque.German, circa late 19th Century Hand-painted porcelain wall plaque by one of the finest KPM artists. Plaque depicts an old German woman wearing a bonnet and fur collar; after a portrait by Balthasar Denner (1685-1749). Painting is very fine and depiction is executed in near photorealistic details; for example, the wrinkles around the sitters mouth.incised illegible script in graphite. Measures apprx 6"H x 4"W. Plaque is set into ornate composite and gilt frame.The the frame need resteration With frame, entire item measures apprx 8-1/2"H x 6-1/2"W.
