A Fine Underglaze Blue & WhiteHallmarked Snuff Bottleprobably 20th Century The bottle of compressed oval form with a straight neck, standing on a raised oval footring and a recessed base.Very finely painted with a continual scene of 'The Three Friends' - pine, bamboo and prunus, amongst rockwork.The prunus flower-heads picked out in underglaze white add a seemingly three-dimensional quality to the painting.Lappet and diaper borders to neck and base.Underglaze three character mark to underside reads;' Yang he tang ' - Hall w harmony is nurtured - (Qianlong Imperial Mark).This is a very pretty and well painted bottle full of symbolism bestowing longevity and good fortune.
