The lettering on the front is - Trade Mark Registered, Full Measure Quart , Metal Tin Top. Embossed on Reverse - This Bottle to Be Washed and Returned. Probably from about 1900-10. 8 3/4" tall. On the base is A. G. S. & Co., Patent App'd. For, and the number 1. The tin top is embossed in the metal - A.G.Smalley & Co., Full Measure. This can be seen in the third picture. T is very little rust on the handle, bail or top. This is a very hard bottle to find with all the metal pieces intact. This is not a dug bottle. No chips or cracks and the glass is very clear.
