An Asian antique lover is going to downsizing his collection which has been built up for the past twenty years. Over the next couple of weeks I will be listing some very fine and rare items from my collection. All the items will be starting off low, and most of them are with a low reserve. Up for auction is a hard to find Kangxi(1662-1722) Cafe Au Lait glazed large bowl with a brownish enamel exterior ground decorated with four different shaped panels of floral design and a Wucai(five-colored) interior design of birds, ducks and flowerage. Diameter measures 23cm and height 10cm. A perfect addition to any serious Chinese porcelain collector. I bought it from a Finland auction house years ago. Authenticity guaranteed. Condition is excellent except for a 2 inches hairline on the interior side of the bowl.(see pic#7)
