I currently have auctions active for some of the oldest Christmas spoons produced by A. Michelsen of Denmark. The company began producing the Christmas commemorative spoons in 1910. I have individual listings for those from 1910, 1911, 1912, 1913, 1914, 1915, 1916, 1918, 1924 and 1965. This is your opportunity to add some rare and extraordinary items to your spoon collection. This auction is for the spoon from 1912. The pattern is called "Christmas Bells". The spoon is in good condition with no bends, dents or heavy scratches. It is made from sterling silver with gold wash applied to both sides of the bowl. It also has extensive gold wash accent on the upper portion of the spoon. The gold wash is in great condition both on the bowl and on the upper portion. The spoon has extensive detailing on both the front and the back. A wonderful addition to any collection. It is marked A. Michelsen Copenhagen and Sterling Denmark. It measures about 6 inches in length. Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, return it to me within 5 days of receipt in the same condition as received. I will refund the full amount of your bid. You will only be responsible for shipping both ways. If I have materially misidentified the item, shipped the wrong item or otherwise erred in the transaction I will refund shipping costs as well.The buyer pays $8.00 towards personally insured shipping & handling via USPS Priority Mail within the USA and Canada.
