a Very Clean Pair of English Duelling Pistols by Dunderdale & Mabson of Birmingham circa 1780. Having 9" octagonal barrels with Birmingham proof marks . Good quality locks with swan neck cocks & bridled frissons with a roller frisson spring. Steel mounted with pineapple finial to the trigger guards. Original horn tipped ramrods retaining their original worms. Full stocked in walnut . 14 3/4" overall length. Old working life repair to one of the stocks. Sequential serial numbers 0012636 and 0012637 0n the inside of the trigger guards.
