Twice as Nice! One Melon Charleton, One Round Rose Bowl Fully Intact with all the Paint and Gold In Pristine Condition! I'm pleased as punch to offer what may be a first on Ebay. Not only one, but a pair of 1940s Charleton Vases. What we have is something that is very special. You get both the full round body rose bowl and the melon vase. Each are in excellent condition, all the flowers beautifully full and complete, the gold highlights complete about each piece, top middle and bottom and of course the wonderful peach interior. The smooth bowl does have an extra dab of gold gatd or pooled on one of the crest, but if a flaw, not much of one. You have seen these pieces retail for up to $175.00 apiece, but you won't have to pay anyw near that to get this pair (unless I get really lucky). The bidding is for the pair, not a choice, but both items will go to the highest bidder. The pictures are pretty close to the actual colors, if anything, the pics make them look rather drab compared to the simple brilliance of the paint, gold and vibrant pink. Due to the times and everybody's wish to get the best pieces at the least cost I have made it a point to end my auctions early if no interest (bids), seem to be exhibited, it is merely because I start my auctions at a good deal less than my purchase price .
