The artist: Sharon Rickert grew up in Oregon, w as a young child she began to demonstate an interest in art. However, she wouldn't fulfill her dream of being an artist until later in life. Raising four children and joining her husband in a sucessful real estate business, Sharon only painted as time allowed.In 1981, however, Sharon and her husband decided to persue their dream of living on the beautiful Oregon coast and opening an art gallery that would allow Sharon to teach and exhibit her breathtaking seascapes and floral portraits. Today, Sharon Rickert and her husband own three successfull galleries in Oregon, and Sharon's paintings are in great demand.
