Jo0158a A rare Joseff Hollywood original jeweled elephant necklace and earring set. Eugene Joseff was famous for designing and producing animal type jewelry as well as other fantastic uniquely designed during the 1930 to 1940 era for many major famous American movies, the Hollywood stars and for retail sales to major department stores in the 1950 era. Some of his elephant jewelry is shown in the Jewelry of the Stars book page 144. The necklace measures 18 inches wide with an elephant drops 2 inches long. The earrings are 3 inches long. The set has very beautiful bright colored crystals and pearls which are movable. This necklace and earring set is rare and not often seen in the world of vintage collectables. Marked Joseff on the back of the jewelry. In excellent condition. We deal in only authentically made Joseff of Hollywood jewelry with purchases made directly from the Joseff Company. This is not reproduced jewelry and it was made from all original findings and stones from the Joseff Company and was assembled at their factory.
