BOBO Miniature mask Burkina faso , west Africa
This is a really fascinating old mask carving from the TOMA peoples ( or related group) a very powerful and bold carving that resembles the traditional masks of the region , likely the Bobo or Bwa peoples.
The mask has been custom mounted to a small steel display stand , and displays very nicely , its bold presence and abstract form make it a Good collectible and Great Home or Office Decor piece. Please consider that Miniature versions of Traditional masks are Much more difficult to find then the actual full size masks.
The maskette measures 6 1/2 X 3 inches.
