Bayreuth Mustard Pot For your bidding pleasure is a fine Royal Bayreuth mustard pot or condiment dispenser in the somewhat rare turtle & seashell pattern. Whimsical item consists of a coral handled pot made of seashells, topped by a turtle whose head is the spoon. I believe this is for mustard or perhaps horseradish because the spoon will only hold about 1/4 teaspoon which is a bit small for sugar. It could be suitable for Sweet&Low or some similar sickeningly sweet sugar substitute, however. Item is unmarked (except for the number 35), as many are, but it is a Bayreuth with a certainty: I have seen a teapot in this very pattern. Item is in EXCELLENT CONDITION. No chips. No wear to decorated surfaces. T is a tiny firing line (see close-up photo) that has been t since its manufacture, because it is filled with brown paint from the turtle's leg. Item measures approx 3-1/2 inches (8.9 cm) tall with lid. Postage (U.S.) is $5. International bidders please contact me. Good luck.
