An attractive period pole arm ,halberd,having an 8ins. spear blade and an axe head an fluke.The head is 11ins across and the weapon is 82ins in overall length.This item has a period shaft and is in very good condition.The head and fluke have simple pierced decoration and there is a deeply impressed armourer's mark.Items such as this probably arrived in England in the civil war period.
