The Tea set is part of a Large Collection of Silver and other Fine Quality Estate items up for auction, as you can see in the last picture. The Tea set is one of the finest we have seen, Really Top Quality from top to bottom. The Kind of quality you would expect from this Very Fine Silver Firm. Also as you can see the Tea set has a early 1900's Barker Ellis Hallmark used on their finest silver items of the period. The Teasets mounted decorations are also Solid Sterling Silver, really the finest quality money could buy for the period. The Tea set is Beautifully decorated, and designed all around including Flowers, Leaf Foliage, Scrolls, ect. The Top Rims are also finely decorated with a great Shell and Scroll design matching the pot spouts. The Top Finial's also have a nice design. The Tea set also has Nice Large Paw feet, really giving the set a great look. The Set is also Very Thick and made to last weighing 2800 grams on our postal scale. What else is great is that the Tea set has never been Monogrammed which is a nice Rare Find. The Solid Wood Handles are also nicely designed with Thumb rests, and are in excellent condition with no damage, or movement. The Tea set itself is also in exceptional original condition with no wear, dints, cracks, or repairs. It is also nice and Large the Teapot measures 11 1/2 inches long, by 6 1/2 inches tall, and 5 1/2 inches wide. I have no idea what the Barker Ellis Silver Tea Set would be worth. You could not ask to find one in finer original condition, and it really is one of the finest Tea sets we have seen. As usual we just start all my items off low, with No Reserve, and will let you decide. Like a Real Auction should be!!
