This listing represents a first for me. you have a WWII AAF Set of Silver Filled Aircrew Wings. The Aircrew Wings depict the Great Seal of the United States. They are the large size wings that are worn on Tunics or Jackets. Vanguard made the wings. The information is stamped to the reverse along with Vanguardâe(tm)s logo. T is a pair of clutch back posts with early wire clutch back caps. The wings measure .75 by 3 inches. Aircrew flew on bombers (B17, A20, B24, B25, B26, and B29 bombers) or transport aircraft such as DC3s. The wings are very finely detailed. Being silver filled t is a content of precious metals present. The Aircrew wings are just what you need to complete your AAF Uniform or Insignia display. A padded bag with First Class Postage and tracking slip would be fine in lieu of the usual Priority Mail shipping option. This AAF Army Airman Aircrew Silver Filled Wings marked Vanguard in near mint condition would make a wonderful addition to an AAF Uniform or Insignia Collection. It is a fantastic pickup for re-enactors, and they would look terrific in your display, museums, and for educational and theatrical presentations. The ribbons also would make a poignant gift to a veteran (or addition to a veteranâe(tm)s shadow box display) or family. I am listing a number of caps, uniform items, field gear, insignia, ribbons, home read more
